Our work
GCCC Recycled Water Release Plan
Project management and design services were delivered for Stage 1 of Gold Coast City Water’s $75M Long Term Recycled Water Release Plan. The works included subsea pipelines, river crossings, pump station upgrades, substation refurbishments and major structural modifications at Coombabah and Benowa treatment facilities, increasing the system capacity to transfer up to 6,300 l/s of recycled water.

Aura and Harmony water & sewerage project
Phronis provided engineering advisory support for tender development on the Aura and Harmony Design & Construction project for Unitywater. The scope included water supply pipelines, reservoirs and a major sewer pump station with rising main connections to the Kawana Sewage Treatment Plant, supported by early technical liaison with AECOM on behalf of Seymour Whyte.

Queensland Train Manufacturing Program
Phronis was engaged by Hatch as part of the infrastructure engineering tender design team for the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP), supporting works at the Torbanlea Manufacturing Site and the Ormeau Maintenance and Stabling Yards. Our scope covered the full range of civil disciplines to develop tender-ready infrastructure designs.

Laverton North Waste to Energy
Continuing to demonstrate its expertise in waste-to-energy, Phronis supported the project definition phase of the Laverton North W2E facility - a proposed 200,000 t/annum municipal solid waste plant using gasification technology across two independent process lines, designed to generate 15MW of electricity for grid supply.
