Our work

Phronis supported the development of a new fly ash (FA) transfer and truck load-out (TLO) facility at Stanwell Power Station, designed to increase utilisation of fly ash, reduce reliance on ash repositories and supply supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) to market. The project centred on delivering a high-capacity, automated and integrated load-out solution.

As Design Coordinator for Seymour Whyte’s SWIFT ECI bid, we led multi-disciplinary tender design development for the $350M Cairns Water Security Stage 1 project. The bid encompassed aquifer extraction, a new submerged membrane water treatment plant, reservoirs, and 30km of pipeline infrastructure.

In 2025, we provided project management support for Civil Trunk Infrastructure Design within Water Services, overseeing a $200K portfolio of concept and detailed design projects. Our role covered consultant engagement, procurement, contract administration and financial control, ensuring timely, compliant and cost-effective delivery.

Since April 2025, we have provided structured project management for Whitsunday Regional Council’s $15.6M Bowen Landfill FY25–29 Capital Program. Our role spans planning, delivery and contract administration, ensuring disciplined governance, regulatory alignment and efficient execution across a complex, environmentally sensitive site.
